Fireball Glazed Meatballs – A little sweet, a little spicy, a whole lotta good! They taste great dipped in a little Ranch dressing. Frozen meatballs, ketchup, red pepper jelly, sugar, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and Fireball cinnamon whiskey. Ready to eat in 20 minutes. Can also slow cook in the crockpot. Great for tailgating, potlucks, and holiday parties!
In a Dutch Oven or large saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, red pepper jelly, sugar, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and Fireball whiskey.
Add frozen meatballs to Dutch Oven and cook on medium-low for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often.
Notes:
These meatballs aren’t really spicy. There is just a hint of heat. If you want spicer meatballs, just increase the amount of cayenne pepper.
I used premade frozen meatballs in this recipe. There is no need to thaw them before cooking. You can also make your own meatballs if you prefer.
I buy the smaller 1/2-ounce meatballs. Feel free to use larger meatballs if you prefer.
You can whisk up the bbq sauce ahead of time and refrigerate until you are ready to make the meatballs.
Can I make Fireball Glazed Meatballs in the Crockpot? Yes! Just dump all the ingredients in the crockpot and let them cook on LOW for a couple of hours. Keep the meatballs in the slow cooker during the party and they will stay nice and warm.
If serving as a main dish, serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
